The Metropolitan Museum of Art acquires three works by Kunié Sugiura

Alison Bradley Projects is delighted to announce that  The Metropolitan Museum of Art has acquired two of Sugiura's remarkable photo-paintings, Where to (1980) and Promontory (1980), along with a prepatory gelatin silver print for the latter work, entitled Promontory Study  (1980).

The gallery is honored that the Metropolitan's curatorial team has recognized the artist's signifcant contribution to art history through these acquisitons.
